PA EIT returns e-file

co

Pro Series needs to Incorporate E-filing of PA Local EIT returns as part of the Protocol e-filing Federal and PA state tax returns. The fact that we tax pros need to have a SEPARATE PAPER FILING system is inefficient and NOT cost effective for continued use of the PS Software when there are other software companies on the market that have successfully implemented this feature.

Have you contacted the PA Local EIT authorities to find out if they have the ability to have it programmed?

Like Keystone, or Berkheimer, or dozens of the others?

I repeat my comment form 2025.

and respectfully Mr. Accountant Man, it is not my responsibility, NOR yours, to research the programming capability of any Local EIT vendor. IS pro series going to compensate for that value? I do not believe so.

When I pay over $7,000 for a software/service I expect they are Customer focused and LISTEN to their requests / needs. AND BEYOND THAT they invest in their product instead of just counting their annuitized gains from existing clients!

REPEAT (other Intuit lists are saying the same thing )

1.) SEPARATE PAPER FILING system is inefficient and NOT cost effective for continued use of the PS Software, or,

2.) we have to go to the LOCAL EIT website and create a separate e-file transaction with ALL the forms already in PS input universe !!

... when there are other software companies on the market that have success seamlessly doing an EIT e file w/o ANY additional extraneous, duplicative effort . !!

Agreed.

1) Absolutely.

2) I have e-filed online for Philly only, but it is a) extra work and b) not reviewable by the client. I had this "delusion" that I wanted my clients to see all the returns BEFORE I e-file them, although I know that most do not even glace at the returns, only the amount of the refunds or tax due.

So I gave them the generic EITs prepared in PS.

understood.

We prepared ONLINE all EIT returns and filed them as well.

Bottom Line ProSeries is NOT serving its customer base / CPAs in this matter: MAKE EIT FILING ON LINE PART OF THE PREP PROCESS

Will Intuit Listen??

no.

They're self serving, not client focused
