Submitted by JOSEPH on 01-26-2024 08:53 PMNew for Tax Year 2023 - Illinois allows ITIN residents to receive EIC - this is only working for clients that have 3 or less "E code" in Part 3 of the Federal information worksheet dependent table. Even if Illinois only allows 3 "E codes" we should not manually remove "E" on dependents 4+ to force the credit to flow to the IL-EIC worksheets. I have been a customer with Intuit for 24 years and I have a large clientele base with ITINs, we need this corrected ASAP.
