New for Tax Year 2023 - Illinois allows ITIN residents to receive EIC - this is only working for clients that have 3 or less "E code" in Part 3 of the Federal information worksheet dependent table. Even if Illinois only allows 3 "E codes" we should not manually remove "E" on dependents 4+ to force the credit to flow to the IL-EIC worksheets. I have been a customer with Intuit for 24 years and I have a large clientele base with ITINs, we need this corrected ASAP.
Well, if you have been an Intuit customer for 24 years, you already know Intuit NEVER corrects anything ASAP, especially if it is a state issue. I would suggest you start looking for a work around.
