Option to require double-entry of bank account information to prevent errors

I prefer to double-check for typos on my own. Retyping the account for hundreds of returns (plus state returns) is time-consuming. And most of the time the account number is transferred from prior year unless bank info is changed. If all this fails, the IRS will mail the check.

I run a batch total/tape to verify my entries.  I do the same for social security numbers.

Hash Total

The sum of unrelated numbers. The hash total does not provide useful data, but is used as a check to ensure inputs were entered correctly.

(guess you have to be really old to speak *batch*, but it's the same as *hash*)
