I have a HOH client. They made $28,066 in wages.
She went to college and her 1098-T shows $17,895 in box 1 (tuition) and $6,444. in box 5 (scholarships).
Her son/dependent was 21 in tax year and also went to school. His 1098-T shows $53,159. in box 1 and $64,374. in box 5.
I would think that the difference between box 1 and box 5 for the son's 1098-T would be taxable income, but that doesn't automatically populate in ProSeries.
Am I missing something or do I have to enter it manually in the Wages, Salaries & Tips worksheet?

It's taxable on his return, not parent's.
