Why can't I e-file NJ-1040 Non-resident Return?

Angel Tr33

Hello Community,

Client is a PA resident who worked in NJ, and employer withheld NJ taxes. I'm trying to file a NJ non-resident return to get a refund for the NJ taxes withheld.

On the NJ-1040NR, I removed the income from the wage statement worksheet.  However, I'm getting a message that states, "Returns with W-2 New Jersey withholding that are greater than state wages are not eligible for electronic filing."

Is there another way to do this that'll allow me to E-file?

Thanks,

Angel
