To mark the taxpayer as a dependent on another return:
- Open the Federal Info Wks.
- Scroll down to Part X - Additional Federal Return Information
- Under Dependent of Someone Else: you'll find checkboxes for "Can the taxpayer be claimed as a dependent" and if so "WAS the taxpayer claimed as a dependent."
- Check both of those to Yes.
