What happens when you do that?  Does it still give the penalty?  If so, does EVERYBODY on the tax return either have insurance or an exemption for the ENTIRE year?

Yes, still shows penalty for months with exemption.

I figured it out. Had to check the moths for exemption also on Form 8965.
