Missouri doesn't honor the state tax being deducted on the w2 if you file a return using ITIN. I researched Missouri's website & cannot find regulations regarding ITIN.

In addition, they are charging the tax payer the payroll taxes that have been taken out of the w2 which was registered with the ssn being used to work.  Is anyone else running into the same issue?

What does this mean to you? "with the ssn being used to work"

Because you use the ITIN when you are not allowed to work in the US, but still need to file a tax form. If you are allowed to work, you apply for the SSN and now you use it. You don't use both.

If they have an SSN, that should be used on the tax return...or are you saying its not a valid SSN they are working under?
