I know this sale of vacant lot goes on sch d but how do I get it there?

I have to report the sale of a vacant lot. I know it goes on a sch d but how do I report it there?

You just type it directly onto Sch D Capital gains & Losses Entry Table, like  a stock sale, but you choose NO for if it was it reported on a 1099B

Tried that but got an error msg because it isn't on a 1099B so I put it on the work sheet & it flowed to the D.  thanks so much for responding-hope this goes through ok! Thanks again!
