Are you just to type in your name in the paid preparer's signature line of the electronically filed Form 1041 this year?

I receive an error message if the signature line is left blank on Form 1041. Is this new for 2018?

Tools >Options> Preparers mark the box to print your name on the signature line.

I've always had that box marked, just in case a return has to be paper filed and I forget to put my signature on it....a computer generated signature is just as acceptable.
