Can you provide guidance? This is my first year and I am struggling!
I, too, have a tax return (1065) that is giving me the error "file is currently locked by another user"; however, I am the only user and do not have the return open. When I clicked to unlock the return, the return does not show "locked".
Hours of pulling my hair out... ALL your assistance is appreciated!

Yes, I have tried both several times along with as many posts I read reagrding this issue and possible fixes.
what if you make sure you have a back up of the return.. then deliete it.. then restore the file

Highlight the return from the homebase > File > Client File Maintenance > Copy / Backup
