My wife is full-time "graduate student." Which the following one I have to choose in Student Information Worksheet:

1. Elementary 

2. High School (Secondary) 

3. College (Postsecondary)

4. Vocational School

5. Military Academy

6. Apprenticeship (Qualified Tuition Program )

7. Not applicable.

If I choose 7., It shows me that I can't apply for American Opportunity Credit, Lifetime Learning Credit, and Tuition and Fees Deduction.

Usually when one's wife is a graduate student, they attend a college.  So I would choose college as the correct choice.  And there is no american opportunity credit for graduate students.
