Slow Printing March 9, 2023

This morning printing on my HP LaserJet is very slow.  I remember this issue from last year. But this is the first time in 2023.  Anyone else having this issue?

I noticed yesterday that my printer needed a longer nap than usual in between the letters and the returns.

Did your computer do an update?  If so, it is possible the printer driver was updated, and I think the first thing I would try is to "roll back" the driver update.

Yes I noticed that too. So I closed two other programs that were running in the background but that did not help. Still slow.
