S-Corp Shareholder Death allocation input

When inputting the allocation of activity between the decedent and the respective estate, do you use the Weighted Average Ownership of stock input or a separate override of K-1 figures based on the date of death allocation applied to the P&L?

Any insight as to proper input would be helpful! I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in the software. (2018 tax year)

Per share per day is the rule unless specific cutoff is elected.

The more I know, the more I don't know.

Thanks SJR. Is there anything that would mandate either option? Additionally, is there a preferred option in terms of input ease in the software?
