Client e-filed their 2022 and 2023 1120S with no issues. This year we get a name and name control mismatch error. Nothing has changed.
I could select name change or I could have the client mail in the return. On 1041's it shows the name control but I don't see it anywhere on an 1120S. Any suggestions?
We had the same thing happen to one of our returns last year. We just mailed it in. But isn't there a telephone number on the rejection if you want to try getting things straightened out.
Usually there is a phone number on the reject notice. None this year. Love to know "why" to get it resolved. I'm thinking ProSeries has a name control issue but I cannot find it anywhere within the file.
If you ever figure it out, let me know. I'm guessing the return we paper filed last year will probably pop up with the same issue this year 😀
