In proseries, I can not update existing products. Keep getting program is not responding?

You failed to include which version and year of ProSeries you're using, so I'm just going to wing it here.....
First thing Id try is a computer reboot/restart, then open the program and try again.
If you still have issues, close the program and attempt to update from outside the tax program using the Update option in Windows
Start button > Programs > ProSeries 2018 > Update
