I am working on a construction worker that is a MN resident that did a little work in WI so his W-2 accordingly shows $7,506 of WI wages. I get the information loaded in and I notice that the refund monitor shows a balance due of $2,541. What? How can it be? But then I look at the actual forms and it shows a $65 refund. Looks like the WI refund monitor is clogged up with cheese this morning. 😀
But it gets worse. The client letter shows the same thing as the refund monitor ------------------ and the forms won't print until 2/13? That really sucks.
@IRonMaN It is working fine for me, but I only have full year residents in WI using WI form 1.
Yes we are ! 😑
They good football news --------- at least we don't live in Chicago. 🏈

Don't worry, there is an excellent chance that will be delayed. 🤣
Just as an update, I thought I would try to uninstall and reinstall Wisconsin. No go. I deleted the states attached to the federal and tried the uninstall process again. No dice. Still have the goofy balance due in the refund monitor and on the client letter and WI will not print diddly. I went back into Wisconsin and tried to print pages 3-5 of the 1NPR. What the heck, it printed the full 1NPR with a watermark. It wouldn't print anything if I tried printing pages 1-2 when in the WI module. Anyway I can live with that. I'll dummy up something for the WI portion of the client letter and I'm back in business. I did a couple of kid returns the other day so today was the first day for a real person return. If this is a warning sign as to how tax season is going to go, I'll be announcing my retirement next week. 😰
Wisconsin Supreme Court has shut down the Legislature with its latest ruling, and you're just fussing about a nonresident tax return? Where is your sense of priorities?
Slava Milwauki!
That sounds more like Minnesota.
I have my ballot ready in case Canada wants to go with adding Minnesota. I just hope that they don't make us have to sing their national anthem in French.
