Trouble efiling

I have a client that has an Identity Protection Pin.  I entered it in Sec VI on Federal Worksheet. Still was rejected

with message "Primary taxpayers IP PIN must match e-file database" Where do I find e-file database info?

Do you have a copy of this year's letter showing the PIN and does that number match exactly to what you have loaded in the software?

needs to be the one they were issued in 2023, in order to EF any years returns in 2023.

do you have the letter they received and is it dated January 2023 for 2022? They might be giving you the number they had from the prior year. I always have them give me a copy of the letter with the PIN and keep it with the tax return incase if gets rejected.
