Because Zelensky played Trump over some minerals that cost more to mine than they're worth?  Hey, sometimes experiments are valuable.  You learn something when they fail.  And I have to admire someone who will run his company into the ground just because he enjoys performing in the spotlight.

@The_AntiTax_Man Yes they did. They were fully aware of what software I had. Both the initial tech support contact as well as the “specialist” to whom I was transferred. But even if they weren’t aware of the version of software, it was a program issue, not a question of how it was supposed to be done. I repeatedly told them how it was supposed to work. I even pulled up relevant publications while on Glance to show them why their advice was wrong four or five times.

My favorite recommendations or directions were as follows:

1. Call IRS and ask them what I should do.

2. The Qualified Disaster Distribution received in 2024 had to be filed no later than 2023

3. I needed to wait until next year (2025) to file it.

And more!

Those were my favorites though.

I never considered the Turbo Tax to professional software possibility, I thought they added it as an “enhancement.” I also neglected to realize that an enhancement would never happen for free. I did however briefly entertain a conspiracy theory, that it was done to harvest information about clients for marketing purposes.

@IRonMaN  I never considered the Turbo Tax to professional software possibility, I thought they likely added it as an “enhancement.” Which wouldn’t be bad if it were optional and could be turned off by default. I also neglected to take into account that an enhancement would never happen for free (insert facepalm here). I did however briefly entertain a conspiracy theory that it was done to harvest information about clients for marketing purposes.

I have this same issue but I have talked to others that don't.  So strange.
