Should the "Transmit client datafiles with converted returns/extensions" option be checked off in e-file options in pro-series?

I thought they HAD to be converted in order to be transmitted, so Im not sure what that setting is really referring to..

I know - it is a bit confusing, but I believe it does have to be checked.
