restoring clients on new laptop

I have done this many times over the years but with this year I am having issues restoring all 1040 clients on new laptop.  I backup to a flash drive like always.  I see all 900+ returns.  When I restore on new computer only a few hundred restore.  I see all backup files on the flashdrive.  I have tried homebase maintenance and nothing seems to be working.  This is happening for multiple years as I am restoring 2017 to present. 

 

Anyone else having this issue and if so, how did you fix it.

I copy and paste the Directories with the tax files.

Copy onto your Flash Drive

Then copy to your New computer.

Then use the Homebase maintenance to up date the files within Proseries.
