I had 2019 state and federal returns rejected and can't find the reason. I updated the software, did a final check, transmitted on 2/12/21 and the returns were received by Intuit.

You say there were received by Intuit, but Intuit bounced them back to you, or the tax agencies rejected them? What does the Efile rejection report say? It should have a rejection code and an explanation.
To find the report, highlight the files in Homebase, then hit F12 that should open the reports window, scroll down to rejected returns and print that out
Hi Lisa. The status showed "return received by Intuit" then the next status was "return rejected". I don't know if that means the IRS rejected it or Intuit. I couldn't get the F12 to work, but I did print a report of rejected returns from the E-File, Electronic Filing reports, which should be the same. I don't see an error code on there.
It does show that both federal & state returns were rejected.
