Qualified Business Income deduction

I am trying to link several K-1's to Form 8995 Qualified Business Income Deductions.

I have entered the correct K-1 name but the program refuses to "link" lock to a line item on Form 8995.

It did once several days ago, but not now. I can manually override Form 8995 line items, but cannot clear the electronic filing error notification of the overrides. 

How do I fix the corrupt data file?

The QBI info should be entered at the K1 which flows to the 8995 not entered directly on the 8995.   Scroll down the K1 until you reach Section D1.

Did that.

Correct, nothing flows.  The link does not "lock".

If you run a Review of the return, are there any errors or diagnostic messages?

Presently the only errors are the overrides on Form 8995. If I delete the form there are no errors.

Form 8995 does not populate by itself even after trying the link again.

By chance, is the 8995-A populating with the information instead of the 8995?   Do a print preview of the return.

No, doesn't populate 8995A.

The link is not attached to any QBI and picking up K-1 information

I can force it on 8995 and it calculates correctly.

I will try and delete all k-1's and reenter.
