when I try to e-file, it comes back with a reject because its says that the PTIN has not been verify?

TOOLS > OPTIONS> FIRM/PREPARER INFO    you need to check that little box that says PTIN Verified.

go to Tools>Options>Firm/Preparer Info    look for PTIN Verified box (pink)  to check
