Has anyone determined how to pull a query in ProSeries of clients with unemployment benefits?? I found directions for Lacerte but that doesn't help me 🤔

Congratulations! You are the millionth ProSeries customer to suggest that. Because you are the millionth, Intuit will be sending you their very own Intuit garden weasel. That should keep you busy until they roll out that search function.
We ALL can only hope that the IRS will somehow "reconsider" or recompute the calculations in lieu of us having to scan our systems looking for all our clients who reported unemployment. In the alternative, after the clients have gotten the news about the U/E being non taxable, they will call us and we can start a list of amendments to prepare through the late spring and summer. Assuming that the IRS will say that amendments are the correct and proper way to address this. Right now they are stating that no amendments should be filed. In the interim, PATIENCE is called for as WE all navigate this perfect storm of changes. In the alternative, WE get a chance to shine with our clientele and access another refund for them, albeit being slow as molasses in wintertime. Cry Havoc! and let the fun begin.....................
You can cerate a Custom Homebase View that makes a column for all returns with "Other Income on Sch 1", that will give you all your unemployment returns (as well as any other type of "other income"), so you'll still have to do smoe sifting, but thats all we have right now.
MY suggestion is we report the unemployment on1099g
then go to "other income" and enter the unemployment income
as a "negative figure" that way the income tax withheld if any
would compute, just a thought

ps stay safe all
