Proseries does not do an account credit carryover

Greta

The excess money I had in my account (for times when I purchase out-of-state software) did not carry over to the following year. I discovered that rule unfortunately only when it happened. I'd have to do a pay return from that past year (a truly rare event) to retrieve it. I wish that rule could be reversed: it surely left a bad feeling towards Proseries.

"Reputable businesses refund money that is not used to buy their product."

I guess that right there says a lot about Intuit😉

This issue has been brought up a number of times and Intuit has always pointed out that it has been disclosed if you read the full 1,896 pages of disclosure before you sign on the dotted line.  They have never listened to customer complaints about it because it is easy money for Intuit and they do whatever they can to please their shareholders.

Folks have complained about that for quite awhile.  When dealing with Intuit, you really need to read the fine print before agreeing to anything.

I got burned once years ago and left $$ in 2010 that I never got to use.  Now I pay as I go, I don't pay ahead for PPR, I pay as I need to print.

Exactly,...and we were promised that we could enter c/card info, and it would automatically keep that info.  but to no avail.  Just like they have never solved the Tennessee F&E error i have complained about for 3 years now.

It's actually theft. Reputable businesses refund money that is not used to buy their product. It did not dawn on me that they would keep the money. It used to save me time not to put in my card number each time.
