Maybe an odd request, but I have a client that I need to do prior years returns for, and it would save some data entry if I could pull data back to a prior year version of ProSeries. Thank you

Only if your name is Mr Peabody and you still have your Wayback Machine.

Start with the oldest year and transfer the client file forward. Works great

Hi Tax-Lady: I already have the returns done for 2019 and 2020, I have to go back to 2018 now. I'm seeking a way not to have to re-enter all the personal info, your suggestion below says I am to go forward. I don't have this client in 2016 or 2017. Any other ideas? Can ProSeries go backwards? That's my question. Thanks

You are stuck doing the 2018 return from scratch.

I've encountered the same issue...maybe this could be an idea for an improvement in the program!! I just entered all info again.
