ProSeries 2020 HomeBase view is dropping client names. Homebase Maintenance does not work. How do I get these "dropped" files back into my HomeBase view?

It's not just you. I've had to go into my data folder a few times to retrieve files that were missing from the homebase list.

@abby can you tell me exactly how you retrieved your files? I would greatly appreciate it.

Do any of you see .tmp file in you data folder?

Are both the Data file and the .cache still in the data folder?

@Bert I will be of no help as I had to re-enter my 2 clients from scratch again. I could not afford to spend 4324532 hours on the phone waiting for CSR.

 

I will keep my eyes open if it happens again.

Close out of ProSeries entirely, then open the 20I file directly from the Windows file explorer.
