Printing current form in ProSeries Basic

How can I print an open form in ProSeries Basic? When I open a specific form and go to the toolbar and click on Print, nothing happens even though when I mouse over the Print button, it says: "Prints the current form."

I use basic, when I want to print an open form I right click the form and select print or I select the form name tab and print.

If that doesn't work, check your printer setting in PS.

When I right click on the form, the print command is grayed out. There must be something wrong with the printer connection. I tried my second printer and had the same problem.

Try the print command tab and then printer set up. Reboot all devices first, rebooting is the duct tape of computing.

I called Tech support, and the rep suggested that I update my program and it worked. I had a momentary hiccup since then, but I closed the client and went back in and could print an active form again.

Updating  program the other Duct Tape: " updating the program is synonymous with "is it Plugged in?"

I failed giving the most basic and generally  correct fix for PS issues. I may have to impose a 2 hour self banishment from the community.

I really fell badly that you spent what I would assume a great deal of time contacting Tech support.
