Preparing 2017 1040X

How do you prepare a prior year 1040X in ProSeries Basic?

Ive always used the correct years program for that years amended return...I know the 1040X shows different year choices at the top, but I have no clue how the current year program could be used for a prior year amendment unless youre just manually typing in all the figures on the 1040X.

Me, too. Current year software doesn't have prior years' tax brackets or deductions or reductions, et al.
