If you are new to this community, before you ask a question, do your research.

Read the form instructions from the IRS.

Refer to Pub 17 on your issue.

Use the question icon for the line on the return you need clarification with.

Go to the source for the information you need. i.e. website of payer for EIN# or bank for routing# or

computer help for turning off ad blocking.

We are all happy to help you but keep in mind that everyone here is busy. I personally will not do your research for you. Show some effort, it is appreciated.

PS if you post a response please don't be snarky. I'm just here to help.

Additionally, confirm the Dates of the resources you rely on. Someone posted info stating they referred to a 1031 exchange resource dated 2006. Those regulations have changed. Many regulations have changed. Many covid-recovery regulations are/were temporary.

It's one thing to do your own research; it's another to confirm the resource you found is accurate and meaningful and applicable.
