I have a client that started an S Corporation in NC on 2/14/2025. We filed a form 2553 dated 2/28/2024 for an S corporation election. Do I need to file an 1120 for 2024? The client was a single member LLC in 2023. The form SS-4 that he received from the IRS, shows that he needs to file a form 1120 on 4/15/2025. If I need to file an 1120, in Pro Series, how do I indicate that the corporation is an S corporation? How do I get the software to automatically do the k-1s?
