I am considering signing up for the Tax Protection Plus for the $10.00 per return. Has anyone else done this in the past? What was your experience?
I carry E&O insurance in case I screw up. 'nuff for me... used it once in 30 years. Think I had a 250 deductible at the time and they paid out about 1K.
For the most part, if I mess up, i'll pay the P&I if need be.... but that's been far and few between
Isnt it an all or nothing kind of charge?
For me that would be 800+ clients at an additional $10 each, I dont spend nearly $8000 worth of time answering IRS notices each year, so for me its out of the question.
In the event of an audit, I dont want my clients to have to deal with some stranger over the phone, so again, for me this just serves no purpose.
