Is anyone having any trouble getting returns efiled today? Ie, just says sent to IRS.

Yes, things are evidently taking longer than the usual 2 minutes that it normally takes to get an acknowledgement.

But I am not talking 2 minutes.  We efiled returns this morning and nothing has been accepted.

Yeah, things are going slower today.  Everybody just needs to sit back and relax a bit.  Delays happen, especially around due dates.

I'm not trying to be rude.  Folks tend to get in panic mode when this stuff happens and everybody just needs to calm down, the returns will go through.

Delays at IRS end. We can't blame Intuit for this one.

I never check until the next day, so no clue if any I sent today have been accepted or not.

Yup, I transmit at the end of the day and then check in the next day to see what happened while I slept.  The IRS acknowledgements are fast, but Minnesota isn't quite as athletic and takes awhile.  Life is too short to keep checking every 15 minutes to see what has cleared.

Yes, e-filed 4-5 hours ago and status is still Sent to IRS.
