how to add states to our 2009 Individual software package

What agency (IRS?  State? Both?) is asking for an eleven-year old return?  And why?

I agree with abctax55. To add a new state in the current 2021 software, you just choose and download the specific state module software information on the applicable worksheet, where you can choose which state software to download, and then you can prepare the return, if you have unlimited states. Not sure though for that far back. Just my opinion.

And I thought I was running way behind this year.  Somebody is still working on their 2009 pile of returns ------- I feel much better now.
