How do you change qualifying persons for Form 2441? Client has 2 dependents, 17 and 13. Form 2441 shows both as qualified but Fed info wks shows 17 is not qualified.

Fed Info Wks has a system-generated X in the "does not qualify" field for the 17 year old. But both dependents flow to Form 2441 which generates a $1,200 credit. Should only be $600 for the one child who is under 13 for part of the year I think?

That "X" is for the Child Tax Credit, not the Dependent Care Credit.

On the Federal Info Wks, where is asks for the amount of child care expenses for the 17 year old, it should be BLANK.  Don't enter $0.
