I can't get into my software and am getting the message:
This action cant be completed because the underlying service is taking longer to respond
Does anyone have any solutions? Customer support is closed today.
Try rebooting your computer particularly if there are a number of apps or pages open. It worked for me a few days ago when I received the same message. If that fails, try waiting for a few minutes.

I tried shutting it down once with no success. Then did a hard shut down by pressing my power button 10 seconds 2 times in a row and my system did some kind of recovery.

I get this message often when my cloud backup is running and scanning the ProSeries data files. Ive started only backing up once at the end of the day to eliminate the hassle.
