If you've transferred and have not worked on it yet, delete and re-transfer. It will come over.

If you've worked on the return already, open up 8915-E and enter the carry amount on ln12 I believe and ln15. Further down the form if its an IRA.

8915-F will populate. I was told 8915-E will not efile with return.

sounds like a fresh transfer is best in most cases

I have worked on it.

I can always just delete and retransfer over.

They do not have much that it will take me that long to re prepare.

I will try your way first... Thank you so much.

I have manually entered the info but it is taking the balance of the distribution and taxing the remaining 2/3 of it.  Why?  How do I fix this?
