ProSeries is requiring form 1310 when it is not required. Surviving wife is filing joint return with a refund.
ProSeries is requiring form 1310 be completed in order to e-file and the questions on that form do not pertain to the wife's circumstances.

When I remove form it just comes right back.
PS says there are overwrites in form and cannot e-file.
PS tech says to file paper copy. Cannot or will not fix error in program.

Have you checked each line to see where the override is? Error checking will usually take you to the line, not jus the form. I would check each line **bleep** in the program and I may have to delete the entire return file and start over.

Maybe by placing the spouse or wife as the taxpayer instead of the decedant as the taxpayer in the return, just a thought.

It shows up but is not included with the final return.
