Filing Extension to avoid Underpayment

GeorgiaRe Tired

I was going to file an extension on ProSeries by 1/15/22 with payment electronically.  My thoughts were to make this payment to avoid underpayment penalty ( I didn't do estimates throughout year because December caused underpayment status).  ProSeries forms aren't updated for 4868 until February which makes this plan impossible.  Is my only other option to mail in an estimate?

Cant you just use IRS DirectPay and make a 4th quarter estimated payment and file the extension later once the form is ready?
