Federal conversion failed but State goes thru when e-filing the returns; please help. Thanks.

Have you used the "review" feature to see if there are errors on the federal return?

Have you gone back into the return and do "Review" on the Federal only? Is EF Federal return marked? Fix any problems, hit EF Now. Pop up box will show Federal and that the state is already at Intuit. Select Federal only. Send. Hope this helps.

Is your program current?   If program isn't current federal will fail but state will submit.

But it will usually say something to the effect of the federal isn't the current version when that happens.
