Hi All,

Is anyone aware of any issues with EIC calculations for 2022? I have an identical situation of two partners, same income, same number of children, MFJ with no spouse income. One is calculating the EIC and the other isn't.

I would compare all of the EIC worksheets - something there will give you the answer.

Check the Federal Information Worksheet  Part III   have you entered that each child is eligible for EIC

Are the ages of the children the same or at least under 17?

Thank you all for the responses.

I figured it out. I didnt check the active box on his k-1 and therefore was flowing as a passive investment income, rather than ordinary. Therefore, EIC wasnt calculating.
