current year, 2023 and two prior years, 2022 and 2021 so that would be a negative

i have been with you for fifteen years under two different identity numbers

i have a client who wants to file a 2020 tax return

i cannot access my 2020 software

You haven't been with "us".... this forum is 99% populated by volunteers/fellow software users.  You have to contact support.

BUT - If you explain the issue a bit, I bet a PS user can help.  It is likely that you didn't update the old software by 12.31.23 as we were all told to do (Lacerte AND PS). 

@Just-Lisa-Now-   You always have that info/how-to at your finger tips  - help?

But gaining access to the software still won't allow for e-filing.  The current year plus two is an IRS restriction.

If 2020 wont open, you need to update it from the Windows Programs menu, but as mentioned above, EFiling is only open for current year and 2 years prior, the 2020 EF window closed November 2023.

 

This is a screen shot for 2019, but 2020 has the Update option as well.
