If you're on the 1099-B Worksheet it's on the far right of the page in the Quick Entry Table.
On the 1099-B input worksheet look for the box marked "Disallowed Wash Sale".
I'm having a hard time finding this box? Where exactly do I look for it?

I see the wash sale column but there is no way to enter data unless you add a statement and name it wash sale. Then it populates the box with $0.00. Is that the correct way to do it?
In the poorly-named "Quick Entry Table" I enter those sales that have a wash sale entry. But I'm now tempted to ignore the wash sales and just decrease the cost basis, as was suggested above.
Thank you ! That makes more sense. In my case all the disallowed wash sales were $0.00 after the proceeds and cost were entered.
My confusion is with the changes Proseries made to the 1099B. It is not as “user friendly” as before.
Thank you again for your reply!
