I've been having my Pro Series Basic software crash all the time. It takes forever to open, then at best I can work on one return. Once I close that client's file, if I try to do anything else it will crash. Never had this problem before. Also, where is the link so we can use the software off-line? This happened before, so here we go again. Must say I'm getting very disappointed with Pro Series.
To get the option to log in offline, you need to disconnect your wi-fi or ethernet cable. You need to find that missing file that was rejected, its got the original EF data contained in it, I dont think you'll be able to EF a new copy of it. Could it have been accidently deleted and sitting in Windows recycle bin?
Sounds like you may have a bad install though, and doing a clean reinstall of the program might be a good idea. You wont lose your client data files.
