Correcting payment due dates to 7/15

I've updated my ProSeries Professional and the "Estimated Tax Summary" now correctly shows the first estimated payment due on Jul 15th.  The letter also shows the Jul 15th date for first estimate.  However, the 1040-ES voucher still says Apr 15th.  Most clients will go by the date on the voucher.  Is ProSeries planning to fix this too?

Not until the IRS does.... go to the IRS website.  The 1040-ES still shows April 15.

Intuit can't overwrite the IRS forms.

Doubtful, that would require IRS to change the official form and make it available to software developers,  and then Intuit has to change their forms and submit their version of the new form to IRS for approval...and that takes weeks and weeks to accomplish.

YVW...

If the client hasn't heard the news, and doesn't read your letter/instructions, and ends up paying early....  well, then they deserve to lose the use of the funds early.
