2019, and hot off the presses (at least for Lacerte) now 2020.

Beware tho, that you can only efile amended returns that YOU prepared using PS.

YES YOU CAN!

The work sheet has a link and box to check to efile the amended form 1040X for tax years 2019 and 2020.

There are also specific proceedures in the help menu that are significantly different than the standard 1040X amendment instructions. Be aware this option is only available for limitted state returns, California not being one of them,so you have to mail them to the state as in the past.

I have done 5 of them this year and it's a great time saver.

California has allowed amended returns via efile for several years.
