My client's 1099-R, Line 2a indicates a taxable amount of a rollover, which doesn't appear on Line 5b taxable amount on the 1040.   What should I do?

Box 2 shows a taxable amount, but they did an indirect rollover to another retirement account? Scroll down the 1099R worksheet and you'll find a place to indicate the amount was rolled over.

Or maybe you need to explain the situation a bit more.
