Hello,

I e-filed 1099-NEC with 10 contractors for my client

One contractor with 1099-NEC is $0 instead of $21000 that was issued and e-filed

Please tell me how to correct or void 1099-NEC with the correct amount: $0 on 1099-NEC

Form 1096: do I have to report the correct amount: $0 or the total amount that has been reported previously minus 21,000?

whatever software you’re using should have the capability of issuing a corrected 1099-NEC.

INTUIT 1099 do not allow to reissue or correct 1099-NEC with $0.

This is the reason I have to do it by mail and I do not know how to put it in 1096 and correct 1099-NEC with $0

What is "INTUIT 1099"? That's an IRS form. Intuit is a company. Not a program or filing website.

There is a box at the top of the form to checkmark that something is VOID and a different box to checkmark that something is CORRECTED.

Let's try this:

Lat's pretend you are using 2-up forms to correct 1 form, and the second form will be blank.

First form = Corrected

Second form = Void (tells the machine reader to ignore it)
